Runs a second PubMed search using drug class + indication + safety keywords (AND logic) to catch papers that discuss safety at the class level without naming specific drugs. Results are merged and deduplicated with the primary search.
Presets for common safety surveillance configurations:
Date range uses PubMed's crdt (create date) — the date a record was first added to PubMed, matching the criterion used by Embase/Fortrea. For a quarterly review, use a ~2-week buffer before the quarter start and ~5-week buffer after the quarter end to catch late-indexed records.
